California Dreamin'

** Aunt Carole is resting up and so I must note here that her blog has been hijacked for today. She has contributed but lost executive decision status for this post including which pictures to post.

Today we drove to Dana Point and had lunch with niece/cousin Katie! It was a beautiful day and we had a wonderful time, even with a deadly monstrous spider in the bathroom (not pictured here).


On the drive home we made a stop. Don't get spoiled by the luxury Aunt Carole, you'll soon be roughing it!

Another hike today but this time with clear skies and beautiful views. These are the Hollywood Hills!

This is the Kodak Theatre where the Oscars are held and American Idol is filmed. So close to such greatness!









Grauman's Chinese Theater is home to famous events and movie premieres. This is where stars leave their handprints in cement. Can you find Captain Jack Sparrow in the picture?

Excellent day, now it's off to San Francisco in the morning to meet the group!
